Two unusual stories are making headlines in France.
Thieves broke into the Renoir Museum on the French Riviera and initially stole four paintings by Impressionist master Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Two were abandoned as police responded, while two paintings valued at roughly $10 million remain missing.
Meanwhile, workers at the Eiffel Tower walked off the job after female employees were reportedly instructed to stay out of sight during a private visit by a Hindu delegation. Management apologized and acknowledged that the conditions should not have been accepted.
Authorities are investigating both incidents.
