In the movie Over the Hill, Ricky Hill and his elder brother want to join the other kids to play baseball, but they are refused rudely. The kids make fun of Ricky, saying he walks like a robot. Then Ricky makes a deal with them: if he can hit the ball they pitch, he and his brother can join the game. He fails to hit the ball in the first two attempts, but Ricky never gives up. Instead, he becomes more determined and believes in himself deeply. Finally, he hits the ball perfectly with an amazing swing.
