Hey guys here we are again with another one of my crazy Anime Openings! This time I decided to do a mashup of King of the Hill set to the song “Colors of The Heart” by the band Uverworld. Most of you may know this song from the famous Blood + Opening which I personally consider one of the greatest Anime openings ever made! When making this edit I turned to the original opening for inspiration to try and match the visual ques as much as possible while of course still being it’s own thing. Of course this song is also famous for being used in the infamous SpongeBob Anime opening by Narmak which I am also A huge fan of. In fact the bill kiss scene from my KOTH Anime Opening is a direct nod to Narmak Animations Spongebob Opening. On a side note just like with my American Dad Anime Opening I was originally building the concept with clips scoured across the internet but I quickly realized the low resolution made a few scenes look rough when watching it on a bigger screen so I manually went in an captured all of the footage to get it at the highest resolution I possibly can for the scenes. This added about an extra day of work but I think it overall made the opening come out just as polished as the American Dad Anime Opening so I’m happy I decided to go the extra mile for this one! Hopefully you walk away having enjoyed this King of The Hill Anime Opening as much as I enjoyed making it!
