Victorian Alie returns to her property to find her home completely destroyed by bushfire, with only minutes to spare during evacuation. Despite losing the house, newly installed floors and windows, as well as tractors, trucks and a ute stored in the shed, the homeowner’s primary relief is that her donkeys survived the blaze. The property’s neighbour managed to move the animals to safety in a back paddock.
