Over the Hill might just be one of the best off-roading games I’ve ever played! In this review, we’re taking a closer look at Funselektor’s beautiful open-world driving adventure and why I believe it’s one of the best indie games of 2026.
With 21 vehicles, breathtaking landscapes, challenging off-road trails, dynamic weather, and an incredible soundtrack, Over the Hill captures the magic of exploration like very few games can.
We’ll explore everything the game has to offer at launch, including the Canadian and Algerian regions, vehicle upgrades, off-road physics, multiplayer co-op, activities, performance, and Steam Deck optimisation.
Is Over the Hill worth your money? After spending plenty of time exploring its world, I have a lot to say about this one!
Enjoy the review, and let me know what you think of Over the Hill in the comments!
