Welcome to Part 1 of our full series where King of the Hill summarizes the ENTIRE Dragon Ball Z storyline from start to finish!
We’re kicking off the Saiyan Saga by re-imagining Episode 1: Hank (Goku), Peggy (Chi-Chi), and Bobby (Gohan) are enjoying a peaceful day at Kame House when Hank’s long-lost half-brother Junichiro (Raditz) arrives from space to reveal his true Saiyan heritage… and criticize his power level. Luckily, Dale (Piccolo) is on standby with a Dragon Radar and a warrant check.
WHY WE MADE THIS:
We wanted to strictly follow the official Dragon Ball Z canon—episode by episode, saga by saga—while completely re-contextualizing it through the dry humor, character dynamics, and iconic voice profiles of King of the Hill.
Subscribe and hit the bell for Part 2 dropping next week, where Hank and Dale fight Junichiro Raditz to the death!
