The Hill Hosts Primary Night Coverage With DDHQ Election Data Experts

Tune in to The Hill’s live coverage of Tuesday’s primary elections in Illinois.

The Prairie State is hosting several state and federal contests, including the race to replace retiring Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) The Democratic primary to succeed the senior senator has turned increasingly nasty in the last few weeks, with Democratic Reps. Raja Krishnamoorthi (Ill.) and Robin Kelly (Ill.) as well as Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton duking it out for the party’s nod in the solid blue state.

Durbin is not the only Illinois Democrat heading for the exits this cycle. There are five open House seats up for grabs on Tuesday. The seats, all held by Democrats, have brought forth an array of moderate and progressive candidates to the field.

Meanwhile, both Virginia and Pennsylvania are holding a handful of state House special elections Tuesday.

“Sunrise On The Hill” host Cory Smith will be joined by NewsNation’s Bill Sammon, DDHQ’s Geoffrey Skelley, Robby Soave and Lindsey Granger, hosts of The Hill TV’s “Rising,” and more
