Outgoing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has released newly declassified information regarding U.S. government funding for biological research laboratories overseas.
According to Gabbard, intelligence records show more than 120 bio labs across over 30 countries have received U.S. taxpayer support through various defense and health-related programs, including facilities in Ukraine. The documents reference long-running funding streams and research activities involving infectious pathogens, as well as oversight concerns tied to so-called gain-of-function studies.
