White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt announced that holiday travelers will save over half a billion dollars as gas prices drop to a four year holiday low under President Trump’s energy first agenda.
But the economic revival does not stop at the gas pump. Wages are now rising faster than inflation for the first time in years. Real incomes are climbing. Over 150,000 North Carolina residents alone have moved off food stamps and back into self reliance. National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett confirmed that 2026 will bring the biggest tax refund season of all time. Overtime workers seniors and tipped employees will see massive refunds when they file taxes. A major plan to make housing affordable is coming in the new year to reverse the fourteen thousand dollar annual increase in mortgage payments that Joe Biden’s inflation caused.
One moment from President Trump’s North Carolina speech captured everything. Heather Whitley a bartender and server from Nashville North Carolina took the stage visibly emotional. Under no tax on tips she will save over five thousand dollars a year. She told the crowd it has finally allowed her to invest in her first home. That is the American Dream coming back to life. The President also announced that 100 percent of all jobs created since he took office have been in the private sector while reducing the federal workforce by 270,000 positions.
